Installation Instructions
Operating principle
The humid air is removed from the serviced area and the system can be used at temperatures below 0 °C.
Process air
The process air to be dehumidified passes through the filter, fan and sorption rotor and then leaves the dehumidifier as dry air.
Regeneration air
The air used to dry the slowly rotating sorption rotor is called regeneration air. It passes through the filter, fan, regeneration heater, sorption rotor and leaves the dehumidifier as warm and moist humid air, which is led out of the served area.
The regeneration air can be taken in as outdoor air, which creates neutral pressure in the served space. If the regeneration air is instead taken directly from the space where the dehumidifier is located, negative pressure is created corresponding to the amount of wet air that is removed.
Installation
EvoDry Pro has inspection hatches on both sides and can therefore be installed in right-hand and left-hand versions.

- P: Process air
- T: Dry air
- R: Regeneration air
- V: Wet air
Service area
In front of the unit's inspection hatch, there must be a free space corresponding to the width of the unit. This is necessary so that the filter and all components can be replaced during servicing.
Free space that should be available in front of the inspection hatch:
| Unit | Min. service space (mm) | Recommended service space (mm) |
|---|---|---|
| EvoDry 30 Pro | 460 | 1000 |
| EvoDry 60 Pro | 530 | 1000 |
| EvoDry 120 Pro | 630 | 1200 |
| EvoDry 180 Pro | 720 | 1200 |
Parking space
Channel for rainwater
If the air duct is connected to an exterior wall (outdoors), the intake must be placed high enough to prevent dust, debris, rain and snow from being sucked in. For this purpose, a wall fitting adapted to the respective dehumidifier size is used. Place the wall fitting away from contaminants, such as exhaust fumes. It should also be placed at least 2 metres from the wet gas outlet.
If wall diffusers are not used, the intake opening must be equipped with precipitation protection and a small animal-proof net (mesh size 10×10 mm). Fresh air can also be taken from the served space; in such cases, the fresh air intake must be equipped with a small animal-proof net. When return air is taken from the served space, a negative pressure corresponding to the amount of wet air is created.

Wet gas channel
Wet gas is always vented through an exterior wall (outdoors) using the shortest possible duct. The duct must be corrosion-resistant and able to withstand temperatures of up to approximately 100 °C. It must be insulated on the outside if there is a risk of condensation in the duct. The duct must also be installed with a downward slope from the dehumidifier, and a condensation hole (6 mm) should be drilled at the lowest point of the duct to prevent water accumulation. Check the appropriate location of the condensation hole so that the small amount of condensation water that is drained does not risk causing damage.
Wall outlets for wet gas (accessories) must be installed at least 2 metres from any wall outlets for rainwater. Consider the outdoor environment so that the location does not cause discomfort to the surroundings. If wall outlets (accessories) are not used, the wet gas outlet must be fitted with precipitation protection and a small animal-proof net (mesh size 10×10 mm).

Adjustment
The EvoDry Pro sorption dehumidifier is factory-calibrated to provide maximum dehumidification capacity and high energy efficiency. Normally, no adjustments are necessary.
The capacity for process and control air flow is specified in the technical data for each model. Air flows are measured on the suction side, i.e. on the process and control air side.
When changing settings, the following table values should be taken into account for optimal performance:
| Unit | 30 Pro | 60 Pro | 120 Pro | 180 Pro |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Maximum total power, W | 2000 | 2800 | 6100 | 10600 |
| Maximum total current, A per phase | 9 | 12 | 9 | 15 |
| Process air flow, m³/h, min – max | 100 - 260 | 200 - 500 | 400 - 1000 | 800 - 2100 |
| Air flow, m³/h, min – max | 25 - 70 | 50 - 120 | 70 - 180 | 120 - 300 |
| Ratio, %, recommended reg/process air flow | 28 | 25 | 18 | 24 |
Commissioning
- Start the unit and set the desired humidity level to the lowest value so that you can be sure that the dehumidification process will start.
- Allow the unit to run for at least 5 minutes after switching on heating stage 2 to achieve full power.
- Make any changes in small steps. The most important thing is to check that the maximum connected power is not exceeded.
- Ensure that the values are within the permissible ranges according to the table above.
- Then set the desired setpoint for dehumidification.
EvoControl Touch
Control is via a 4.3-inch colour panel with touch display, providing a clear and intuitive user experience. The system has a wired network connection for stable communication and also offers a cloud solution with a responsive design that automatically adapts to mobile phones, tablets or computers. Advanced functionality allows you to control the indoor climate with high precision, customise operation as needed and monitor the system in real time.
Components
EvoControl Touch consists of the following parts:
Display

Main card

- Fuse 5x20mm, 200mAT, 230VAC
- RJ45 network socket
- Battery CR3225
- USB connector
Included
- 15 m cable 4×0.25 mm² (max. length 50 m)
- 4 plastic spacers
- Screw (for surface mounting)
Installation of the display
The touch panel should be installed in a warm, weather-protected and dry area where it is clearly visible and easily accessible to the user. Avoid placing it in areas with high humidity or risk of condensation.
- Push the frame away from the display by holding the edges of the frame and pressing lightly on the display.
- Unscrew the four screws on the sides of the display.
- Fit the wall plate over any existing wall socket or on the outside using plastic spacers and screws.
- Connect the cable to the terminal block on the display.
- Cables can be released from the connector by inserting an object (e.g. a small needle) into the gap above the cable.
- Check that the cables are securely connected and that no strands are sticking out!

Disposal
The unit must be disposed of in accordance with applicable environmental legislation. Contact your local environmental authorities for information on correct sorting and handling.
The sorption rotor material is non-combustible and should be sorted as glass fibre. If there is any suspicion that the rotor has been exposed to an unhealthy or contaminated environment, a risk assessment should be carried out. Environmentally hazardous substances and chemicals may be stored in the rotor material.
Take appropriate measures to comply with environmental legislation and local regulations.
