APU 500 is a high-efficiency air purifier for homes and small premises. It filters viruses and bacteria, among other things, and is equipped with HEPA 14 filters - the highest filter class used in operating theatres, for example. The APU 500 is suitable for both public and domestic use and is recommended for spaces up to 150 m².

Placement
Place the air purifier in the centre of the room to ensure even air circulation throughout the space. Leave at least 10-20 cm of free space around the sides and back of the unit.
Connect the plug to a grounded electrical outlet.
Electricity connection
The power strip has a length of approximately 2 metres and is equipped with a plug for easy installation. The plug is connected to an earthed wall socket (1×230 V) and must be protected by a 10 A slow-blow fuse.

Operation
The capacity can be steplessly adjusted with the knob (see picture below) on the front. Feel free to start at a lower setting and increase as needed depending on the room size and air quality.

Service
- Disconnect the electrical connection before servicing by pulling the plug.
- Ensure that no one can reconnect the air cleaner during the work.
- Loosen the top plate by removing the 6 screws with a star chisel.
- Pull up and remove the old filters straight up.
- Gently vacuum the inside of the air purifier and clean with a mild detergent if necessary.
- Install new filters. A total of 2 filters are needed per air purifier: 1 HEPA filter and 1 pre-filter. Original filters can be ordered directly at www.acetec.se
Service interval: Perform service twice a year or when needed.
