APU 500 is a high-efficiency air purifier for homes and small premises. It filters viruses and bacteria, among other things, and is equipped with HEPA 14 filters - the highest filter class used in hospital operating theatres, for example. The APU series is suitable for both public environments and home use. Suitable for spaces up to 150 m².

Placement

Place the air purifier in the centre of the room to ensure even air circulation throughout the space. Leave at least 10-20 cm of free space around the sides and back of the unit.

Connect the plug to a grounded electrical outlet.

Electricity connection

The power strip has a length of approximately 2 metres and is equipped with a plug for easy installation. The plug is connected to an earthed wall socket (1×230 V) and must be protected by a 10 A slow-blow fuse.

Operation

The capacity can be steplessly adjusted with the knob (see picture below) on the front. Feel free to start at a lower setting and increase as needed depending on the room size and air quality.

Service

  1. Disconnect the electrical connection before servicing by pulling the plug.
  2. Ensure that no one can reconnect the air cleaner during the work.
  3. Loosen the top plate by removing the 6 screws with a star chisel.
  4. Pull up and remove the old filters straight up.
  5. Gently vacuum the inside of the air purifier and clean with a mild detergent if necessary.
  6. Install new filters. A total of 2 filters are needed per air purifier: 1 HEPA filter and 1 pre-filter. Original filters can be ordered directly at www.acetec.se

Service interval: Perform service twice a year or when needed.

HEPA 14 filter

- The air purifier contains electrical and moving parts. Risk of electric shock, crushing and cutting.
- Always disconnect the power supply via the fuse or plug before servicing and lock/secure against reconnection.
- Use personal protective equipment (gloves, safety goggles, dust mask).
- Mark the air cleaner with a warning sign during servicing.
